Set along the tranquil banks of the Breede River in the breathtaking Lemoentuin area, this project embraces its surroundings with sweeping river and mountain views that instantly evoke a sense of calm.

The brief was to keep the design simple, neutral and timeless, a space that feels welcoming for the family’s weekends away and holidays, while also functioning beautifully and effortlessly as a short-term rental.

We deliberately avoided over-personalising the interiors, opting instead for a palette and layout that feel comfortable and easy to settle into. A place where guests can unwind, breathe deeply and enjoy the serenity of being close to nature – the sound of the river, the open views and the feeling of truly being away from it all.

A seperate cottage forms part of the project and once complete we’ll share that addtion as well.
